DIY: How To Save a Dirty & Slippery Golf Club Grip

Saving The Grips

Cleaning grips is important for any golfer, it could impact performance. Not having a good grip on your golf club grip could mean hitting a slice or hook on the golf course

Sandpaper Block

To make your grips feel like new again, there ‘s only a couple of steps.

First, you want to get a sandpaper block. The sandpaper block has 100 grit.

Put the grip in the water and gently brush the grip with the sandpaper block.

Drying Grips

Brush the grip a couple times to do a thorough cleaning of the grip. Let the grip air dry.

Maintaining Your Grips After A Round

Lastly, due to the oils on your skin. Golfers should wipe down their grips after every round with a damp cloth. The oil will build up over time and decrease the life of your grips.
